SRJ: International Journal of Scientific Research (SRJ-IJSR) follows a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure the quality, originality, accuracy, and academic integrity of published research. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review procedure.
The journal follows the review process outlined below:
1. Initial Editorial Screening
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the editorial office to evaluate:
- Journal scope and relevance
- Manuscript formatting and structure
- Language quality
- Plagiarism and ethical compliance
Manuscripts that do not meet the journal requirements may be returned to the authors for correction or rejected before peer review.
2. Reviewer Assignment
After successful editorial screening, the manuscript is assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers in the relevant field of study.
The review process follows a double-blind system where:
- Reviewers do not know the identity of the authors
- Authors do not know the identity of the reviewers
3. Review Period
The review duration depends upon the availability and response time of reviewers. The editorial office continuously follows up with reviewers to ensure a timely review process.
4. Reviewer Evaluation
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:
- Originality and novelty
- Scientific quality and methodology
- Clarity and organization
- Relevance to the field
- Accuracy of data and conclusions
- Ethical compliance
- Quality of references and citations
Reviewers may provide detailed comments and suggestions for improvement.
5. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewer recommendations, the editorial board may take one of the following decisions:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
6. Revised Manuscript Submission
If revisions are requested, authors must submit:
- Revised manuscript
- Response to reviewer comments
Authors are expected to address all reviewer observations carefully and clearly highlight the changes made in the revised version.
7. Re-Review Process
For manuscripts requiring major or significant revisions, the revised version may be sent back to the same reviewers for further evaluation and verification of corrections.
Reviewers assess whether the authors have satisfactorily addressed the comments and recommendations provided during the initial review round.
8. Final Acceptance
Once the reviewers and editorial board are satisfied with the revised manuscript, the paper is approved for publication and moved to the final production process.
